The iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2009) is powered by a 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor (E7600) featuring two independent cores and a 3 MB shared L2 cache. It came with 4 GB of 1066 MHz DDR3 SDRAM (two 2 GB SO-DIMMs), and the memory can be expanded up to 16 GB across four SO-DIMM slots. For storage, this iMac includes a 500 GB 7200 RPM Serial ATA hard drive.
