Detailed Description
The UGREEN FineTrack Smart Finder is a compact tracker for keeping track of everyday belongings such as keys, bags, luggage and other personal items. The tracker integrates with Apple's Find My network, allowing its location to be viewed in the built-in Find My app on compatible Apple devices without installing a separate tracking application.
The tracker uses Bluetooth to communicate with nearby devices and has a built-in speaker that can play an alarm at up to 80 dB to help locate an item nearby. If an item is left behind, the Find My app can issue a notification. When a tracker is outside direct Bluetooth range, its location can be updated through the Find My network as other participating Apple devices detect it. The tracker does not contain a GPS receiver, so location updates depend on the availability of nearby network devices.
The unit measures approximately 3.6 × 3.6 × 0.7 cm and uses a replaceable CR2032 coin-cell battery, with an advertised battery life of up to 24 months. Battery life varies with usage and conditions.
The FineTrack is designed for Apple's Find My ecosystem and is not compatible with Android devices. It is intended for locating personal belongings rather than providing continuous GPS tracking.
Compatibility: Apple Find My Pairing and registration require an iPhone running iOS 14.5 or later or an iPad running iPadOS 14.5 or later. Macs running macOS 12.5 or later can view the tracker's location but cannot register it. Android devices are not supported.
