UGreen 'Nexode Pro' 45W GaN Charger / 2xUSB-C / Grey

The UGREEN Nexode Pro 45W GaN Charger is a compact AC wall charger equipped with two USB-C output ports. It provides up to 45W of total output power, allowing compatible smartphones, tablets and USB-C laptops to be charged from a single mains adapter. Its dual-port configuration also supports charging two devices simultaneously, reducing the need for separate chargers.

Both USB-C ports support power delivery up to 45W when used individually. When two devices are connected, the charger shares its available power between them, subject to the requirements of the connected devices and the charger's power-management system. The 45W rating represents the charger's maximum total output rather than 45W being available independently from both ports at the same time.

The charger uses gallium nitride (GaN) power electronics. GaN technology allows power-conversion circuitry to be implemented in a compact form, making it suitable for a portable wall charger. The unit has a space-grey finish and an EU-style mains plug.

USB Power Delivery 3.0 is supported for compatible devices, with output profiles covering 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V and 20V. The standard fixed-voltage profiles provide up to 3A at 5V, 9V, 12V and 15V, and up to 2.25A at 20V. These profiles correspond to a maximum of 45W at 20V.

The charger also supports Programmable Power Supply (PPS), which allows compatible devices to request an adjustable voltage within a supported range. Its published PPS output specification is 3.3–11V at up to 4.05A. Actual charging performance depends on the connected device, cable and negotiated charging mode.

Additional supported charging protocols include Quick Charge 4.0+, Quick Charge 3.0 and 2.0 compatibility, SCP, FCP, AFC and BC 1.2. This combination allows the charger to work with a range of devices that implement different fast-charging standards. The charging protocol used in practice depends on the compatibility of the charger and the connected device.
