Product Description
The Synology DiskStation DS925+ is a versatile 4-bay NAS powered by a quad-core AMD Ryzen V1500B processor (2.2 GHz) with hardware AES-NI encryption and comes with 4GB of DDR4 ECC SODIMM memory, expandable up to 32GB. It supports both 3.5" and 2.5" SATA HDDs/SSDs, and features two M.2 2280 NVMe SSD slots for caching or additional storage pools.
The DS925+ offers dual 2.5GbE RJ-45 LAN ports with link aggregation and failover capabilities for fast and reliable networking. It can be expanded with a single DX525 expansion unit for up to nine total drive bays and up to 180 TB of raw storage capacity. External connectivity includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports.
The system delivers sequential read/write speeds up to 522/565 MB/s, supports multiple RAID configurations (RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, Synology Hybrid RAID, Basic, and JBOD), and is housed in a compact chassis measuring 166 x 199 x 223 mm, weighing 2.26 kg without drives.
