Product Description
The Synology DiskStation DS1825+ is a high-capacity 8-bay NAS powered by a quad-core AMD Ryzen V1500B processor (2.2 GHz) with hardware AES-NI encryption, and comes with 8GB of DDR4 ECC SODIMM memory, expandable up to 32GB. It supports both 3.5" and 2.5" SATA HDDs/SSDs, and includes two M.2 2280 NVMe SSD slots for caching or creating additional storage pools.
The DS1825+ features dual built-in 2.5GbE RJ-45 LAN ports with link aggregation, failover, and load balancing, and offers a PCIe 3.0 Gen3 x8 slot for optional 10GbE or 25GbE network expansion cards to enhance networking capabilities. It can be expanded with up to two DX525 expansion units for a total of 18 drive bays and up to 360 TB of raw storage capacity. External connectivity includes three USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports.
The system delivers sequential read/write speeds up to 2,239/1,573 MB/s, supports various RAID configurations including Synology Hybrid RAID, and is housed in a chassis measuring 166 x 343 x 243 mm weighing 6 kg without drives.
Running on Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM), the DS1825+ provides extensive features for data sharing, synchronization, backup, virtualization, surveillance, and security.
