Apple Watch Series 6 Service Program for Blank Screen Issue

What is this Service program about?

Apple has determined that the display, on a very small percentage of Apple Watch Series 6 40mm, may be permanently disabled. Affected units were manufactured between April 2021 and September 2021.

An Apple Authorized Service Center will repair the affected Apple Watch Series 6 40mm free of charge.

Note: No other Apple Watch models are eligible for this program.


Service Procedure

Visit iSystem for your Apple Watch repair. Prior to service, your Apple Watch will be screened to confirm that it qualifies for this program.

Note: If your Apple Watch has any damage that makes it difficult to service, that damage should be evaluated first. In some cases, costs associated with the repair may be incurred.


Additional information

Apple may limit repair to the country or region of original purchase. For Apple Watch Series 6 devices purchased in EEA member states, service is available in other EEA member states.

This Apple program applies worldwide and does not extend the normal Apple Watch warranty coverage.

The program covers qualifying Apple Watch Series 6 aluminum models for two years after the unit first retails.
