Apple iMac / M6 / 10-Core CPU / 10-Core GPU / 16GB RAM / 256GB SSD / Silver / GR

The new iMac brings the superfast M6 chip to the world’s best all-in-one desktop. It pairs fast, responsive performance and powerful on-device AI with a strikingly thin design in seven vibrant colours: blue, purple, pink, orange, yellow, green and silver. It runs macOS 27 with Apple Intelligence and Siri AI.

Every model uses the Apple M6 chip with Neural Accelerators in each GPU core, hardware-accelerated ray tracing and a Dual 16-core Neural Engine. Memory bandwidth reaches up to 170GB/s. The Media Engine handles H.264, HEVC, ProRes and ProRes RAW in hardware and decodes AV1. Compared with M4, graphics are up to 2x faster and on-device AI up to 5x faster. All models start with 16GB of unified memory and a 256GB SSD, and SSD read and write speeds are up to twice as fast as before.

The entry model has a 10-core CPU with two super cores, three performance cores and five efficiency cores, plus a 10-core GPU. It can be configured with 24GB of memory and up to 1TB of storage. Two Thunderbolt / USB 4 ports support one external display at up to 6K at 60Hz. 2.5Gb Ethernet is available as an option, and the model ships with a Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse.

The higher model has a 12-core CPU with two super cores, four performance cores and six efficiency cores, plus a 12-core GPU. Memory goes up to 32GB and storage up to 2TB. Four Thunderbolt 4 ports drive up to two external displays at 6K and 60Hz, or a single display at up to 8K. It includes 2.5Gb Ethernet and a Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, and offers nano-texture glass as an option.

Each Thunderbolt port runs at up to 40Gb/s. The Apple N1 chip provides Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and Thread. A 3.5mm headphone jack supports high-impedance headphones.

The 24-inch 4.5K Retina display has an actual diagonal of 23.5 inches and a resolution of 4480 x 2520 at 218 pixels per inch. It offers 500 nits of brightness, 1 billion colours, the P3 wide colour gamut and True Tone.

The 12MP Center Stage camera records 1080p video and supports Desk View. The six-speaker system uses two pairs of force-cancelling woofers and two tweeters, with Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos. A studio-quality three-mic array with directional beamforming keeps voices clear on calls.

The colour-matched keyboard and mouse charge through USB-C, and a Magic Trackpad is available as an option. The box also includes a 143W power adapter with a magnetic, colour-matched connector, a 2 m power lead and a USB-C charge cable.

The iMac is made with 15 per cent recycled content, including 100 per cent recycled aluminium in the stand and 100 per cent recycled rare earth elements in all magnets. It ships in fibre-based packaging.

The iMac measures 54.7 cm wide and 46.1 cm tall, with a stand depth of 14.7 cm. It weighs 4.42 kg with the 10-core chip and 4.44 kg with the 12-core chip.
