The Synology E10G22-T1-Mini is a compact 10GbE Network Upgrade Module designed to add high-speed 10GbE RJ-45 connectivity to compatible Synology NAS systems. This module supports flexible integration with 10/5/2.5/1 Gbps and 100 Mbps networks, easily connecting to any RJ-45 Ethernet equipment. It features one 10GbE RJ-45 LAN port and fits into a dedicated Synology Network Upgrade Slot. The module supports jumbo frames up to 9KB, TCP/UDP/IP checksum offloading, auto-negotiation for various speeds, large send offload, receive side scaling, and segmentation offload features to optimize network performance.

The Synology E10G22-T1-Mini is installed easily through the dedicated and easily accessible Network Upgrade Slot found on compatible Synology NAS models. Installation involves powering off the NAS, removing the cover to access the dedicated slot, and securely inserting the module into the slot. After installation, replace the cover and power on the NAS. The system will recognize the new hardware, and users can then configure the 10GbE network settings via Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM).
